PRIVACY & DATA · v0.9.8

Your results stay
in your workflow.

Updated 20 October 2026. This policy covers the website, current drive.file builds including Chromium 0.9.7 and Firefox 0.9.9.3, and legacy Chromium 0.9.3 during the upgrade transition.

The download page

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure page visits and understand aggregate traffic. Analytics is added only to the website, not the extension, and is not sent mock scores, Google tokens or spreadsheet contents by JustPrepp. JustPrepp has no website account system or advertising. It serves installation instructions and the extension download. Vercel, the hosting provider, may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and access logs when serving the site. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Optional support payments

The homepage loads Razorpay’s hosted Payment Button for optional support. Razorpay may receive ordinary request and device information when its button loads, and processes any contact and payment information you enter in its checkout under Razorpay’s privacy policy. JustPrepp does not receive or store card or banking credentials, and no payment information is sent to the extension.

Importing a result

When you start an import from a supported completed analysis page on Oliveboard, Guidely, PracticeMock, Testbook or Smartkeeda, JustPrepp reads page text, tables, headings, title and URL, including accessible same-origin analysis frames. It extracts result fields locally for your review; captured page evidence is not automatically uploaded to a JustPrepp backend. When you confirm a save, exam, mock title/date/type, subject, section and overall scores, attempts, accuracy, percentile, rank/test-taker counts and your notes are sent to your chosen Google spreadsheet. Source-derived hashed identifiers and value fingerprints are saved as import receipts; these are not guaranteed anonymous. Tracker reads check layout, existing rows, formulas and import metadata for destination checks, duplicate protection and save verification.

Google access

You authenticate in Google’s authorization window; JustPrepp does not read your Google password. Current builds, including Firefox 0.9.9.3, request https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file at runtime, allowing access to files created or explicitly selected/authorized for the app. Google Drive and Sheets APIs handle account identity, selected-file properties and tracker reads/writes. Account email and a Drive permission identifier bind the connection; an email login hint may be sent to Google during authorization or renewal. Create a personal tracker through Google’s Make a copy page or authorize an existing compatible spreadsheet through Picker. Pasting a URL alone does not grant access. Legacy Chromium 0.9.3 may retain the older broad Google Sheets authorization, which can cover spreadsheets beyond the selected tracker. Updating does not automatically revoke that historical grant. Google may require you to sign in again or authorize the selected file. Google services also operate under their own policies.

Stored on your device

Extension-local browser storage holds your access token/account binding, tracker links and preferences, current result draft, save receipts and pending-save/copy recovery records. These are not bundled in the download or sent to this website. Tokens authorize Google requests and may be renewed when permitted. The extension has no JustPrepp upload backend, advertising service or extension analytics SDK. Mock-platform access remains with those services; normal visits to them are governed by their policies. Firefox 0.9.9.3 does not operate in private windows.

Backups and optional evidence

The settings/recovery backup action saves selected settings, draft and recovery information to a local file without authentication tokens; it is not a complete spreadsheet or browser-profile backup. Some older or developer builds also offer local page-evidence exports containing result-page text and tables. The Firefox 0.9.9.3 AMO candidate does not expose that developer interface. No report is automatically uploaded. Review any file or screenshot before choosing to share it.

Disconnecting and removing data

Signing out clears saved authentication while retaining tracker links, settings and recovery records. It does not delete spreadsheet rows or revoke the Google grant. Revoke access through your Google account’s third-party connections, including any historical broad grant. Removing the extension removes its local storage but does not delete your Google spreadsheets or scores. You control spreadsheet deletion and sharing in Google Drive. Avoid uninstalling when upgrading if you need to preserve extension-local state; unresolved recovery records should not be cleared merely to bypass duplicate protection.
